Our story
Magowa Travels started over a decade ago in Pune with a single sedan and a simple frustration: booking a taxi meant either haggling at a stand or gambling on an app. We believed a cab ride should be boring — car arrives on time, driver knows the road, bill matches the quote. That belief slowly turned one car into a fleet of 40+ vehicles, and one neighbourhood into customers across Pune, Maharashtra & all over India.
Today we run local rentals, outstation trips, airport transfers and curated tour packages — over 25,000+trips and counting. What hasn't changed is the model: we own every car, we employ every driver, and the person answering the phone at 3 AM works for us, not a call centre.

Driver verification & safety practices
Driver verification
Every driver joins only after police verification, a commercial licence check, a minimum of 5 years' driving experience, and a road test with our senior team.
Fleet maintenance
Cars follow a fixed service schedule with documented checklists — brakes, tyres, AC and lights inspected before every outstation trip.
On-trip safety
All cars are GPS-tracked and fully insured. We share the driver's name, photo and mobile number before pickup, and our 24x7 support line stays reachable throughout your trip.
Fair, written pricing
Quotes are shared in writing before the trip. Tolls and parking are billed at actuals with receipts, and the final bill always matches what was promised.
